Amplifier Status

Address: /#/setup/device/amplifier — all users.

Field Meaning
Amplifier Status Normal Operation, Standby Mode, Fault Detected, Powered Off
Fault Code Shown only when a fault is present
Device Temperature Highest module temperature, °C
Module Temperatures Per-amp modules. Green ≤ 60 °C, warning 61–70 °C, error above 70 °C
Fan Speed 0–100 %

Refresh reloads the page from the device.

System Status

Address: /#/setup/device/status — all users.

  • Device model
  • Package version (the installer identity)
  • Core, Aux, UI, and Panel firmware versions (a component at 0.0.0.0 is shown as N/A)
  • Heap (free / max alloc) and max application size

Use this page when you need to confirm what is actually running.

Setup (administrators)

Address: /#/setup/device/setup

Setting Notes
Device Name Required. Up to 31 characters. Shown in the browser tab, on the front panel, and as the mDNS hostname (sanitised). Default if unset: QXD- plus the last four hex digits of the Ethernet MAC.
Fan Curve Default, Quiet, or Performance. Applied as soon as you change the menu.

Save writes the device name.

Update Firmware (administrators)

Address: /#/setup/device/upload

  1. Use a Quest .qfw package. Other file types are rejected.
  2. Upload. Progress moves through Uploading → Processing → Flashing.
  3. Only components that are newer in the package are flashed.
  4. The device reboots. The browser waits up to two minutes, then you should see Firmware update successful.

Keep the network path stable during the update. The front panel is locked while flashing.

Backup & Restore (administrators)

Backup

Download Backup saves qxd-config-YYYY-MM-DD.bin. This is the complete user configuration (audio, EQ, names, network, users, GPIO, power, lock). Keep a copy after commissioning and before a library or firmware change.

Restore

Drop a previously downloaded .bin file and confirm. Restore replaces all settings and reboots the amplifier. Files from a newer configuration major version are rejected. A corrupt file that fails the version header is rejected without touching the live config.

Factory reset

Wipes user settings, accounts, and network configuration, then reboots. Factory identity (serial, model) and the package version are kept.

This cannot be undone. Confirm the dialog only when you intend to return the unit to a first-boot state (open access point, no users).
