Mix bus and zones
Mix Bus
Four mix buses, default names Mix Bus 1–4. Click a name to rename it (23 characters).
Each bus has eight send sliders:
- Analogue 1–4 (using the current input names)
- Digital 1–4

At −80 dB the slider greys out and the value reads Mute / −∞ dB.
Practical notes
- A mix is only heard when a zone (or an expansion output) selects that mix as its source.
- Mix buses do not have their own EQ or meter.
Zones
Four zones, default names Zone 1–4. The 2RU front panel lists them as ZONE 1–4.
Each zone card:

Factory default: Zone n sources Analogue n at 0 dB.
Using zones
A zone is the last mix point before the power amplifier. Typical uses:
- One zone per room, each fed from its own input or from a mix
- Several speaker outputs listening to the same zone so a room with multiple speakers stays at one level
- A zone set to Generator while you time or check a loudspeaker
